Builders

2010_brochure_coverEBuilders are big brothers who also act as mentors and set examples for our Leaders.

our BUILDER QUALIFICATIONS

Required qualifications to become a Builder in MenBuild:

  1. Builder Witness – a strong reference from an established Builder within MenBuild.
  2. Impact Movement Agreement – an agreement signed with the Impact Movement’s Statement of Faith, Mission, Vision, and Values.
  3. IMNetwork Consent – a consent by the coordinator of the Impact Movement Network confirming your Impact support.
  4. MenBuild Agreement – an agreement signed with the MenBuild’s Ministry Statement (i.e. our covenant).
  5. Updated Resume – a resume that reflects the current education (which must be a college or higher-learning institution), skills, experience, certifications, and awards. This can also simply be an updated LinkedIn connection.
  6. Brief Biography – a biography that quickly explains:
  • Life – history and current status of the Builder along with answers to MenBuild’s primary questions.
  • Spiritual Practice – consistent Christian walk and church attendance.
  • Impact Involvement – how long the Builder has been involved with Impact (we require a one year minimum commitment to the Impact Movement before becoming an active Builder).

These qualifications are designed to help our brothers meet the basic standards of many organizations (i.e. job preparation, community service readiness, church membership enrollment if required, etc.) in addition to standards of the Impact Movement.
