Everyone has a calling to serve someone or some community. By walking in the direction of our calling, we become closer to the example we ought to be. Nobody can be called to serve everyone. So, those of us in our calling with MenBuild are clear that we are called to reach out to our young men. This is not to sound like we don’t care about other needs in the world. There are many areas to minister to and we are aware of many of the needs. However, according to Exodus 18:17-23 and Acts 6:1-7 , we understand that focusing our energies on this specific calling will be a greater benefit to all.
WHO WE SERVE – OUR FOCUS
Reaching the young men (18-30) in the United States of America. This ministry may expand to reach globally, but will initially focus on those living the USA. In addition, the current focus is on college student-leaders.
WHO WE SERVE INDIRECTLY
To align young men with the mission and values of The Impact Movement, we stay focus on our mission. The following are appreciated, yet outside of our ministry focus (people who we serve indirectly through the development of our young men):
- Women,
- Children and Teenagers (0-17 years old),
- Elders (50+ years old),
- Men not committed to The Impact Movement ministry.
